Artist's Description

A birthday card design. The little guy on the bicycle has ridden it thru two different colored paints, and spelled out HB with his bicycle tires. How did he keep the two colors separate and not leave any extra messy tracks? Well, that's his little secret, you see. SUGGESTED INSIDE GREETING: "Get out and paint the town."

My work is much stronger when I draw every element in an illustration. I was a math major in college. I taught school, worked in a bank, and did systems analysis at an insurance company before making the jump to commercial illustration.
